Adverse light conditions have surely been an issue for most integrators who are working with e-gates or kiosks where usually hoodless scanners are installed. Direct sunlight or strong artificial light may easily interfere with scanning. Combo Smart Kiosk provides high-resolution 500 PPI imaging with the help of visible white, IR and UV illumination. It performs MRZ OCR and 1D/2D barcode reading from printed documents or smartphone screens. The scanner’s physical design is optimized for building into kiosks, desks and vending machines.
This passport scanner offers complete RFID reading support for BAC, EAC, EAC2.0, PA, AA, PC/SC interfaces and complies with ISO, ICAO and BSI standards, while supports BAC, PACE, EAC, AA and PA as well as CA, TA, BAP and EAP.
